Welcome to the internet home of the Garden at Elawa Farm.  We are part of a not-for-profit organization involved in the restoration and renewal of Elawa Farm, a gentleman's farm built in 1915-17 in Lake Forest, Illinois.  Information regarding the farm's history, architecture and cultural practices can be found on the Elawa Farm Foundation website.

Our mission is to restore the Garden at Elawa Farm to the beauty of its productive heyday, and maintain it as a cultural, educational, and agricultural resource for our citizens today. The Gardeners at Elawa Farm was formally organized in 2004 as an independent volunteer group concerned with using this property as it once was and making it accessible to the public.  We hope you will enjoy learning of the garden's history and the activities that occur there today.
