Middlefork Drive is located at the only stoplight on Waukegan Road between Route 176 and Deerpath Road. It extends only to the west of Waukegan Road; a turn to the east is Westmoreland Road leading to Lake Forest Place and the Lake Forest Hospital. Signs for the Middlefork Savanna and Elawa Farm can be seen at the intersection.
Once onto Middlefork Drive, proceed straight west through a small rotary and down a slight hill to the red brick farm buildings. You will pass the garden on your left as you come down the hill. Parking is available behind the farm buildings.
from Interstate 294
Exit the tollroad at Route 60 (Townline Road) and go east to Waukegan Road. Turn left and proceed to the second stoplight, Middlefork Drive. Turn left and follow the local directions above.
from Route 41
Exit at Deerpath Road and proceed west to Waukegan Road. Turn right (north) to the next stoplight where you will turn left onto Middflefork Drive and follow the local directions above.
