Welcome to the internet home of the Garden at Elawa Farm. We are a not-for-profit organization involved in the restoration and renewal of Elawa Farm, a gentleman's farm located in Lake Forest, Illinois. Our mission is to restore the Garden at Elawa Farm to the beauty of its productive heyday, and maintain it as a cultural, educational, and agricultural resource for our citizens today.
The Elawa Farm property is owned and operated by the City of Lake Forest. We share the use of this property with the Elawa Farm Foundation, which is dedicated to restoring Elawa Farm for conservation, preservation and educational purposes. The Wildlife Discovery Center, also located at the farm, provides wildlife education to the public and houses an impressive collection of reptiles.
